Lebohang Sithole

Biography

Lebohang was born in Natalspruit, near Johannesburg. He currently lives in Palmridge township on the East Rand. He studied printmaking at Artist Proof Studio, graduating in 2012. Lebohang has exhibited his prints in numerous galleries and other spaces including the ABSA L’Atelier competition show, Arts on Main, Sandton Gallery, Jorbug Art Fair, and at Sharon Simpson Studio’s annual show. Most recently, he was part of a three-person show with Sizwe Khoza and Dzunisani Maluleke, called “Hiya Kwini?”(Where to?) Lebohang has worked with Sonke Gender Justice, a well-known NGO dealing with gender equality and other issues. There were certain books and magazines that he was featured to like South African Voice, A New Generation of Print Makers, Sanaa Africa, The Co-Operation for Research and Education and South African Art Times. He also had commission at RMB – Division of First Rand Bank Limited, Duke Corporate Education and RMB Winex.
